Armun Asgari, CFA, CPA
Armun co-founded Homebox in the process of helping his father rent out his childhood home. Frustrated by the lack of simple and affordable options, it was clear there was an opportunity to do property management better, both for owners and renters. Armun started his career in structured real estate financing. He has spent the past decade writing about, investing in, and building businesses. He graduated class salutatorian from James Madison University with a B.S. in Accounting and International Business. He is a registered CPA and CFA® charterholder.
Ignacio Mosquera
Ignacio co-founded Homebox after a successful career in consumer products and real estate operations. As a long-time renter, he saw an opportunity to do things better for owners and tenants, bringing a wealth of institutional experience. Ignacio most recently served as VP of Operations for an Alexandria, VA-based commercial real estate firm. Before that, he consulted and coordinated global NGOs donating pharmaceutical supplies to developing countries. He has a B.A. from James Madison University in Economics and International Affairs.

Every month, we donate a portion of our proceeds to local D.C. shelters and food banks in support of our community. We also partner with local government and mutual aid groups to ensure our tenants never go without a home in times of need.
